The family of a 4-year-old boy that died of a heart condition after going on a ride has settled a wrongful death with Walt Disney World, show court records.

The lawyer representing Daudi Bamuwamye's parents or Disney would disclose any terms or elaborate. Court files show on January 11th a joint motion for dismissal was file and approved.

According to the file, both parties settled the dispute on October 26th, but the file doesn't include any specifics.

On June 13, 2005 the Pennsylvania boy died after riding "Mission: Space." The autopsy determined the boy died of a heart condition that was linked to natural causes. The medical examiner said, people who have this condition are at risk of sudden death, and even more so in stressful situations.

The lawsuit alleged Disney did not properly warn the public of the hazards associated with the ride. Since the incident, Disney has opened a tamer version of the same ride.
