"Legal Briefs," Dale Emch's new bi-weekly column in the Toledo Blade addressed two areas: getting information about a will and breaking a less in a rental property.

On the will question, the writer asked about her inability to get any information about their mother's will because her sister, the executor of the estate, wouldn't communicate with her.

The other question was from a mother whose college-age daughter broke a lease. She wanted to know whether her daughter would be responsible just for her portion of the rent or for the portion owed by her roommates, as well.

Dale's column runs every other week in the Living section of The Blade.
